INTRODUCTION

A television (TV) is an electronic device that provides one way communication from the broadcaster in the form of image or video to the viewer and is used for entertainment, information and marketing purposes.

A smart TV has all the features of a television discussed above. But what makes it smart is its capability of inbuilt internet connectivity. The user can get online and browse web, and watch OTT movies available on YouTube, Netflix etc. It has built in Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) and Ethernet to access web.

An Android TV is a smart TV that has the extra features than any other smart TV. It can connect to Google Play Store and so can download and update apps. It can also update its system through internet which is not possible with other smart TVs.

Android TV apps are the applications that can be downloaded to an Android TV. These apps are Google Chrome, VLC Media Player, Pluto TV, Plex, Google Drive, Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube TV and many more. The list is extensive.
