Mechanical Engineering is that discipline which applies the principles of engineering, physics and materials science for the design, manufacturing, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Anything that can or will move, becomes a subject of mechanical engineering right from electric fans to as complex as our own human body.

Mechanical engineering is a vast subject that derives its breadth from the need to design and manufacture everything from single small parts and devices to large systems such as heavy cranes.
